A KARANTÉN ZÓNA
"A Karantén Zóna" is a Hungarian sketch-film, consisting of five short stories, all set during the lockdown of the covid pandemic. Each comes with a surreal and absurd twist.
I was the costume designer for two of the episodes.

In “Húsbáb”, we glimpse into the seemingly joyless daily lives of a loving couple, where, as time passes and life is confined, the man begins to see his famously pretty girlfriend as increasingly distorted. His fingers, eyes and then limbs grow on her body day by day until she becomes almost an insurmountable puppet.
In the costumes I wanted to portray this grotesque and desperate feeling, with colours resembling rotting flesh, mould and fading.
